We loved Maui. Try the timeshare resorts in the Ka'anapali area. The beaches are beautiful and you can snorkel right off the beach. We stayed at the Westin and it was first class. We also enjoyed the "Road To Hana" which takes you thru some breath taking views and stop at the black sand beach after the waterfalls.
