Default Selling Timeshare And Combining Deeds

This question has come-up on several occasions and I recently inquired with our in-house closing department to acquire a good answer. According to a closing department staff member, as long as the timeshare criteria is the same on both deeds(i.e. same resort, same unit size, etc) then combining an odd with an even to form one annual ownership should not be a problem. That said, I would still consider contacting the resort and/or the county in which the deeds are record to be sure that this is acceptable. I will meet with our attorney to get more information about combining timeshare deeds and the circumstances in which this can or cannot be done and post the information I discover ASAP.
