Default Super Bowl Timeshare Rental Working Well

A recent press release indicates football fans taking advantage of timeshare and discounted luxury resort memberships as an alternative to traditional hotel room accommodations. The following is quoted from PR-USA.NET:

Quote:
Smart Super Bowl fans are taking advantage of discount luxury resort memberships as an alternative to hotels during the Super Bowl. The February 3, 2008 Super Bowl game will bring thousands of guests to Phoenix, Arizona, and hotel rates are expected to rise to meet the occasion.

In order to get around the traditional price swells of high demand seasons or events, more consumers are using discounted resort memberships as an alternative to hotel stays and timeshare ownership. These memberships do not include the maintenance fees, blackout weeks or exchange fees normally associated with timeshares, yet members are able to enjoy the same big name resorts at substantial savings, and without a timeshare presentation or other obligation.

Business travelers are also using discounted resort memberships for corporate housing. Contractors and employees find extended stays away from home much more enjoyable when a beach or world class golf course is included in their temporary housing.

Members may also travel during any week of the year, and for as many weeks of the year as they desire, as membership is based on a 'pay as you go' system. Members can book luxury golf, ski, beach or year round resorts in the range of $300 to $800 for an 8 day and 7 night stay. These are the same high profile resorts available on Travelocity, Orbitz and Hotwire at $1,200 to $3,200 per week. Discounted shorter hotel stays and cruise opportunities are also included in the membership.

A current member states, "The membership has been able to book impossible weeks during COMDEX in Las Vegas and Spring Break in a number of hot spots year after year. I'm sure they'll continue to do the same this year for the Phoenix area during the Super Bowl. We just book a week from our membership web site, confirm everything with our customer service rep, and go."
Timeshare Adventures has been advertising Super Bowl timeshare rentals for several months and our marketing strategies has worked quite well in bringing timeshare owners and renters together. I originally posted a mention of this alternative in December 2007 and the response has been better than expected.
