OK, I've started to waver lately about the Hawaii thing. I love Hawaii, but if I'm going to (hopefully) eventually lock myself into a commitment to someplace, I'd rather do it on the mainland where it's less inconvenient to travel to in a heartbeat, if I get the impulse. Still toying with different ideas.

I started thinking about Block Island instead. Very close to home for me - not tropical, but definitely close to a beach, and good for a weekend getaway. If I want to go to Hawaii (and I will!) I can always do an exchange with someone but this way I'd get more use out of it when I'm too busy to really travel.

Are there any timeshares in Block Island, or anywhere else in that area (nantucket, marthas V, cuttyhunk, etc?)
