Default Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort

“I’ve had the time of my life….” These words often come to my mind when I think of the vacation in “Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort”. Let me tell you friends, this place is truly a heaven on earth. It is located in the Sonoran Desert, on the outskirts of Phoenix. It has almost everything for everyone. It is an abode for shopping, dining, cultural and sports activities.

My son Andrew, my wife Lisa and I had booked a two room luxurious villa. The villa was equipped with all basic amenities. It had spacious living area, beautiful interiors, a full-kitchen, a cable TV; a comfortable king sized bed, a balcony with a beautiful view, etc.

The world renowned John Jacob's Golf School offers an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole executive course. While my son went out to play golf, my wife and I enjoyed a sauna bath at the Spa followed by a dip in the swimming pool. They have a state of the art fitness center and a health club. We also tried a massage at their health center. When we went out for dinner we were greeted by an enthusiastic staff and hostess at the front door of the restaurant. The hostess escorted us to our table. She showed every specialty of the dining room as we passed by. Deciding what to choose from the menu was as overwhelming and exciting as picking up a few dresses at Macy’s President Day special sale.

As every good thing does not last forever, our vacation also came to an end and we had to pack our bags. Now, I know why Valley of the Sun is the ideal location for a vacation
