Certainly!
Branson Yacht Club is located on Indian Point, 2 miles down Indian Point Road from Silver Dollar City. It has the best dam view on Table Rock Lake.
Escapes is the former Coopershares, the timeshare division of Cooper, the company that developed Cherokee Village, Bella Vista and Hot Springs Village in Arkansas. They have an upscale development here called Stonebridge Village. Stonebridge has the area's nicest golf course, Ledgestone, but the POA is pretty stingy about it. It is moving toward being a private course rather than a resort course.
Escapes also has timeshares in Stonebridge Village.
Cooper did not develop Branson Yacht Club. It was an existing resort named Rock Lane Resort. Grandvista developed it as a timeshare, Branson Yacht Club. Then Cooper sold some stuff there, calling it Escapes. Westgate has bought Grandvista out, but is not doing anything with Branson Yacht Club.
Branson Yacht Club is maintained by the original owner of Rock Lane Resort. I know a few owners, including a couple owners who have been pushing to clear up what's going on. The guy that runs the place has promised an owners meeting since Westgate bought out Grandvista over a year ago, but there hasn't been one yet.
It is a resort I would recommend, but it is not a fraction of the resort Big Cedar Wilderness Club is. There are two other timeshare resorts on Indian Point, Stillwaters and Indian Point Resort. Stillwaters is the nicest of the three and is directly across the point from Branson Yacht Club/Rock Lane. Indian Point Resort is further down Indian Point Road. It's a crapshoot there if you will get a well-located unit.
I recently went to compare units at Indian Point Resort and Stillwaters, for a couple coming in form SOCAL, and Stillwaters is the nicest. Indian Point is OK, even with an electric grills on the lanai. At Sillwaters timeshare is only two buildings of several. Similar at Indian Point Resort.
Other resorts on Table Rock Lake in the Branson area include Emerald Point (now Westgate Table Rock Lake resort, or something like that), Kimberling Inn, Ozark Mountain Resort, Paradise Point, Lantern Bay (don't like it), and a new one from Festiva, Stormy Point.

It seems that they have a private shoreline and one can enjoy a full-service marina with paddleboats, pontoon boats, fishing boats, etc. I might plan a vacation at the resort in about a couple of months and I would expect everything as described on their website. As I don’t trust things easily, it would be great if someone who has been there can tell me some more facts about the resort. |
