I will be pushing off to Sunterra's Plantation at Falls Creek for a weak long vacation. My trip advisor has shown me many rosy pictures about the resort. He described it that it is nearby a lake Toneycoma. It has swimming pools. I would like to know is if there are places nearby where I can enjoy the county music? If someone know s about the city and is familier with the best places to visit. Please tell me. |

Branson has many very nice resorts, most of them Gold Crowns.
It's Plantation at Fall Creek. We just had friends stay there and went over to check the place out. It is located across from the Welk Theater and not far from the Table Rock lake dam and Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery.
Yeah, there's plenty of County Music, and just about any other kind of music, in more than 120 attractions and live shows.
We, and our friends, thought that the resort is a hodgepodge. Across from their building was a campground with park models and there was another, larger campground with motorhomes and RVs. Everyone shares the same road in and out. If we wanted to stay at a campground, we would camp instead of timesharing.
There is a dock for fishing and rental boats on Lake Taneycomo, onsite. Taneycomo is a coldwater trout lake, more like a river. Quote: |

| | The Suites at Falls Creek Diamond Resorts International recently acquired Sunterra Resorts and has removed the Sunterra prefix from their community of timeshare resorts. The Suites at Fall Creek offers fully equipped lakeside villas surrounded by the Ozark Mountains and the picturesque lakes of the White River Basin.
Whether you choose to relax by the indoor/outdoor pools or relax by your fireplace, adventure beckons outside your peaceful resort getaway.
Branson, Missouri, is your destination for good old-fashioned family fun where you can choose from over 70 live shows (head for the famous ‘76 Strip Country Music Boulevard), 50 restaurants, amusement parks, whitewater rafting and premier trout fishing.

I own a floating red week at this resort and every time I go there they try to convince me to convert to points for a lot of money and double the maint. fees for the same thing I already have. I get the impression the resort really does not like us "Dinosaurs"(as my week ownership was referred to as) and are trying to force us out by not maintaining our buildings very well and making us feel like we are their red headed step child. I am not to sure how things are going to go now that Diamond Resorts has taken over. My initial impression is not good with the 23% maint. fee increase they socked to us for 2008. During my stay last week I was told by the sales person they would go up another 20% in 2009. To me that is highway robbery!!!!! I thought we had a vote in big increases like that??? Anyone else up set about this??
Also during this last stay we had very loud small children in the room next to us running around screaming and crying until 1am. We called the front desk but nothing was done about it. Then the next morning when we went to take a shower, there was no hot water. We reported it and a couple hours later we notice the water was turned off briefly and then we had hot water, but no one ever came to our room to address the problem. Very poor customer service if you ask me.

I heard that it is a beautiful place. Anglers will find premier trout fishing in Lake Taneycomo. We can spend the day by one the three pools play tennis, or enjoy a number of other amenities on site. such as miniature golf, shuffleboard, basketball, vaolleyball, and a children's playground. Also at the resort you will find a restaurant, hair salon, hot tub, fitness center, and gift shop.
