Hi Folks,
I am a Marriott Vacation Club owner. I own at Marriott's Aruba Surf Club and Marriott's Maui Ocean Club and my family and I love them both! Even though Marriott, as I mentioned in a previous post, treats their potential buyers with top notch amenities and class, the 90 minute sale presentation may turn into a much longer deal if you resist buying. So, my advice is to "stand your ground" and let them know you are aware of the fantastic savings offered on the secondary market and they may back-off a bit(it's worth a try). The salespeople at Marriott resorts are well trained, but not nearly as 'sleazy' as many other timeshare resort salespeople, so there is no need to fear the presentation. But, I cannot stress enough that the deals I see here are darn good and worth pursuing.
Feel welcome to ask me more-- I'm fairly well educated with regard to Marriott Vacation Club. Check them out at the link below.
