Smile My Trip to San Francisco !!

Planning out a vacation has never been an easy job for me. Oops ….how can I forget to introduce myself? My name is Eneka and I am a teacher. So, as I said before, planning a vacation is not my cup of tea. It is always my husband who does that. A few months ago we went to San Francisco. There we stayed at the “Inn at the Opera” which is a resort condominium. The “Inn at the Opera” is located in the center of the world-famous civic center area.

We rented a condo directly from the owner at the “Inn at the Opera”. One of the major attributes of the Inn was its French-Style ambience. Its hardwood floors, antique furnishings, and original artwork were amazing. There were many fine-dining opportunities/lounge noted for the originality of its Continental-style cuisine. We had our dinner at an on site restaurant and bar called Ovations.

I had heard that San Francisco is the home for six performance houses offering over 200 live performances a year. The Inn at the Opera is near many restaurants and shops in the San Francisco area for your entertainment. We went to the Asian Art Museum, which is only about three blocks away. The museum’s holdings include 15,000 objects and artifacts spanning 6,000 years of history, and representing cultures throughout Asia. We also saw the Golden Gate Bridge.

The hotel also offered concierge and business services, including faxing, copying, and printing. A kiosk providing high-speed Internet access (surcharge) is located in the lobby. While my husband completed his work related stuff, I finished the packing. Though there was much more to explore in the city but the hotel was so comforting and beautiful that we preferred staying at the hotel only.

It was an entertaining and an educating trip ever.

Thumbs up Inn at the Opera - Napa

The Inn at the Opera in San Francisco has a cherished history spanning over decades. The resort was built over fifty years ago to accommodate the opera stars who frequented there. The resort is beautiful and has an aesthetic appeal to it. The resort has a touch of European grace, which is awesome. You have fully furnished one bedroom and studio suites to choose from. The suites have Queen sized beds, refrigerator, microwave, CD player, coffee maker, hair dryer, and bathrobes.

The resort provides continental breakfast buffet which is great. The concierge service is really good. There is an internet kiosk available in the lobby, for which you have to pay surcharge. The resort provides car and limousine rentals. Valet parking and laundry service are available at a nominal fee.

The resort is best placed to enjoy the diversity of the artistic San Francisco. The Civic Center, the San Francisco War Memorial Opera House, and Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall are all just minutes away from the resort. Every year, the city has more than 200 live performances in store for art connoisseurs. The Golden Gate Bridge is a place not to be missed. In case you don’t know, it is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world.

You can also enjoy the Hayes Valley and Coit Tower. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the entire city on top the Coit Tower. A ride in the cable cars is a thrill not to be missed. Cable cars are said to be the only moving historic landmarks in the country.

The resort has wonderful dining facilities with the award winning Ovation at the Opera. It’s very famous for its mouth watering French Continental cuisine. Make sure you try the Sautéed duck breast here; it’s one dish that will leave you asking for more. Napa is also famous for its delicious wines.

You can also enjoy the outdoor activities here. The Stow Lake in the Golden Gate Bridge offers year-round trout fishing. You can also try out boating, cycling, and golfing, all of which are available nearby. You can contact the 24 hour help desk for more details about the locale. Overall, a vacation in the Inn at the Opera is an experience that will linger in your mind for a long time.
