The Christie Lodge in Colorado is an ideal choice for those who have a passion for skiing. The resort is also not far off from Beaver Creek area that offers more than 1,500 acres with a vertical drop of 3,340 feet and a top elevation of 11,440 feet. Visitors can take a shuttle from the resort that takes them to Beaver Creek in not more than 10 minutes. There are 30 plus runs in beaver creek and the longest run are approximately three miles.

The resort also offer free shuttle door to door service from the Eagle Regional Airport to the lodge. The suites at the resort are cozy and are equipped with almost everything that one could think of. The suites include a kitchenette and a fireplace, hot tubs, a spacious living room, cable TV, etc.

You can also enjoy delicious breakfast at Denny’s, Pazzo’s, Bob’s Place and Columbine Bakery in Avon. There is a recreation center, swimming pool, library with free internet access, grocery stores, Nottingham Lake & Park, a variety of restaurants, etc. You can enjoy many local attractions in Vail which is only few miles away from the resort and is considered as visitor’s paradise.

There are many activities being offered at the resort which include Jeep touring, hiking, golf, river rafting, kayaking, mountain biking, and much more. You can enjoy fishing with your family and it you are an adventurous person like me; you can go for horseback riding or for a ride in hot air balloons.

My belief is that a vacation at the Christie’s lodge would end with a bundle of reminiscent memories.
