Question Timeshare Resale And Rental Offers Query

Congrats on the timeshare offers amount. I have researched a bunch of companies and their websites and have been a timeshare owner since me and my wife got the typical sales pitch when we married in Las Vegas and bought at the Tahiti Village. My only regret is that I did not know about buying a timeshare from a seller on the resale market.

Most timeshare resale websites don't show the numbers that you guys do, but my question is about the buyer and renter timeshare offers on your homepage:

I have monitored it for a couple days and wanted to know how these offers to buy and rent timeshares are made and tracked. Also, what happens next when an offer is made? Is the negotiation done by you guys or does the owner get an opportuniy to get involved? I know I would want the final say when offers were delivered to me, but I may have the confidence to do so when other timeshare sellers may not.

Default renting my Pueblo Bonito timeshare

I looked at some of the rental offers for Pueblo Bonito timeshares and some look like reasonable offers and other look really low. What the story with that? I have a Pueblo Bonito timeshare in Cabo, Mexico and can't use it this year. I like the fact that there is actual offers and rentals displayed on this website and from what I gather I would be able to counter offer and stuff--- right?

Default Buy & Rent Timeshare Offer Information

Hi ginny,

Keep in mind that these offers to rent and buy our advertised timeshare ownerships are just the initial offers and do not include the counter-offers, negotiations, etc. So, while you may see an initial offer to rent a Pueblo Bonito timeshare, for example, that seems a bit low, understand that the actual accepted offer could be significantly more. Many timeshare renters will initiate things with a low offer and then work with the owner of the timeshare and come to terms at a higher dollar amount.

Whether renting-out a timeshare or selling a timeshare ownership entirely, it's the owner of the timeshare that has the final say when offers are delivered.

Ginney, Some folks out there are going to try to get the best deal possible no matter how insulting the offer may be. I guess you really can't blame them for trying to save some money.
