I have a point timeshare at Bluegreen resorts that lets me use a week at any of bluegreens resorts anytime thats available. When we rent it out I dont book a week, I advertise it as a flexible rental week. I was told that this is better than picking a week unless I am able to get a sold out or real popular timeshare resort or week. Makes sense to me as long as the renter give me enough time to get what they want through Bluegreen.
spades, I found that unless it's a major holiday... don't book it for rent. When you leave your week floating, your market is wide open to anyone looking to visit your location. Now the only kick-back with floating weeks is going to be whether or not the resort has availability. I went through 6 offers before we landed the dates needed. beachfreak
