We have some certificates issued by our resort in Hawaii. I have examined them closely and there seems to be no restrictions about selling them, but how can I go about it and what happens if the people who buy them damage the condo?

Default RENTING? We Can Help!

Hi lovinlife, First your going to need to locate a renter(buyer for the certificates) and doing so on your own can be tricky. Next, assuming the certificates are good for any week based on availability, your going to have to check to see if the time the potential Renter is seeking is availability at the resort. Then, set-up a guest-pass for the renter, confirm the reservation, and collect the rental proceeds from the renter. The renter will typically have to present a credit card for incidentals and such when they check-in, but we recommend a legal rental agreement, which will protect you from damages, incidentals and anything their credit card does not cover.

Timeshare Adventures can help market your bonus certificates, your deeded week and other vacation rental situations and we do all of the above and more for you. Follow the link below to learn more:

They gave me so many of these certificates, so I definitely want to sell/rent them. there's no way I could possibly use my issued week and these "extra" certificate weeks(not enough vacation time). I'll be in touch soon-- Thanks!

Happy to help! Many resorts will give these certificates to new buyers as incentive to buy. Also, the certificates are often sold/rented or given to friends or family and the resort then has a steady stream of new, potential buyers visiting their properties.
