Question Selling My Timeshare...Frustrated & Motivated

Hi. I've been searching for a good and safe way to sell my timeshare and I have visited many websites and inquired, called Realtors and tried free local advertisement, Craigslist, and paid for a few weeks worth of classified ads in my local newspapers with no response whatsoever! I've been telemarketed by several timeshare companies in the past and despite my refusal to deal with telemarketers they continue to call and call and call....So, I'm nervous about completing a registration form at the websites I've visited because I don't want the harassment of even more sales calls.

I've learned now the the Realtor option is unavailable, local ads don't work and even craigslist, which I though would get me some kind of response is not the way to go. I have read all kinds of warnings about paying upfront fees to sell my timeshare, but I'm beginning to realize that it may be the only option. Now I'm faced with finding a company that is legitimate. I would think(hope & pray) that someone out there has to have an ethical company and what attracted me to Timeshare Adventures is the website and the information published here about timeshare resales and the fact that they have an attorney to do the transfer of ownership; Platinum Listing? I think. I'm studying to be a paralegal, so this aspect is what captured my attention. Attorneys have a lot to lose if they get involved with an illegitimate outfit, so here I am.

I would appreciate further advice, even from a staff member about what would make Timeshare Adventures a wise choice for me.

Smile Legit Timeshare Reasale & Attorney With No Closing Costs

I had the same concerns as you Mrs. Moore. The reason I chose Timeshare Adventures is the same reason you are considering them. They have an attorney on staff and they do the closing on your timeshare when you agree to an offer. They also told me that if I find a buyer they would still do the closing at no extra cost, so after comparing them to a few other companies they seemed like the logical choice. I keep a close eye on them. I confirm their advertising on several search engines and have even called and pretended to be an interested buyer and I was treated professionally and presented with a selection of timeshares including mine(I made sure I asked about timeshares where mine is and for the week I own). It's been a month or so since they started advertising my timeshare and I understand that it can take some time to sell, but based on my research they seem legit. Good luck to you, hope I helped.

Hello timeshare sellers. It nice to see that you have explored our website and discovered our most unique feature; the PLATINUM AD LISTING. It's this feature that makes Timeshare Adventures one-of-a-kind and in my opinion leads to the regularity of our advertising clients' success. I have quoted a prior post I made that elaborates further about some of our other unique attributes and some verifiable evidence that our avertising efforts deliver.

Quote:
Timeshare Adventures offers verifiable evidence that our marketing efforts deliver resale and rental success to our clients. I know you are looking to hear from successful sellers and/or renters that have used our services and achieved their goal of selling or renting their timeshares through our services, but I thought I would provide you with some 'links' that support our claims and should give you some confidence in the ability that Timeshare Adventures can effectively market your timeshare and deliver unmatched service.

Timeshare Adventures is currently averaging over $4 million in offers to buy and rent our 'Ad Listings' over the past 30 days and this figure will increase substantially over the next several months as we enter the most active time of year for vacation property on the secondary market!

Arrow Still Searching For Timeshare Sale Options

I'm with you guys. Been trying to rid myself of a timeshare and read the warnings about unethical companies and their upfront costs. The thing is after these warnings, they give no specific alternatives other than saying "find a company that charges after the sale", but finding a company that does it this way is incredibly difficult. These companies are few and far between and take a huge commission IF they sell and are usually located in a certain resort or vacation area, do very little advertising. I guess they try to get those who have turned down the salesmen at the resort and I would think that after being beat-up by those high pressure salesmen they would be reluctant to enter their office to buy. I understand that timeshares can be tough to sell independently and I tried ebay, but was never even able to get my timeshare listed there. It's different than listing regular ebay item(i.e. upfront fees, etc.) and when I looked at what other ebay sellers got for their timeshare it was next to nothing.

I keep seeing Timeshare Adventures when I continue to search for a good selling option, so they do advertise online quite well. Didn't know about the attorney and timeshare closing aspect and that interests me as well. I just hope as you all do that there has got to be a few good companies doing what they promise. Perhaps this is the one
